Pratham Transport Company Pvt. Ltd. (PTCL), established in 1995, is the logistical solutions, raw-material handling and iron-ore mining wing of the Multicolor Projects (India) Ltd. group.

PTCL specializes in logistical planning, handling, shifting and large scale transportation of materials such as iron-ore, limestone, dolomite, quartzite, manganese and coal through road as well as railway transportation. Since its inception PTCL has carried out movement of more than 25 million tons of iron-production related materials such as iron-ore, iron-ore lumps, pellets, iron-ore fines, granulated slag and dry slag. PTCL has complete railway liasoning capability through India and also has mastery in loading and latching onto railway wagons of HR (hot rolled) coils, MS (mild steel) slabs, plates and sheets.

PTCL has an extensive fleet of its own consisting of over 100 large capacity dumpers, excavators and front-wheel loaders. With a team of more than 350 dedicated employees as operators, supervisors, engineers, technicians and managers, PTCL boasts of its high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

PTCL’s efforts have been recognized by several safety awards from the JSW Steel Limited Group. Presently, PTCL is one of the main contractors for the 4-million-ton capacity JSW Steel Ltd plant at Vijaynagar, Karnataka and the 1-million-ton JSW Steel Ltd plant in Salem, Tamil Nadu.

Shri Shukta Investment & Finance Ltd (SSIFL) incorporated on 20th Feb, 1992 is a Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered with Reserve Bank of India (RBI). SSIFL is an investment company of the MPIL Promoters Group with its investment mainly in the MPIL Group of Companies. The main business activities are of investment in shares, stocks, or other securities in India.

Jiffy Shipping Co. Pvt Ltd (JSCPL) is a maritime infrastructure set up of MPIL that facilitates import and export facilities of the organization.

In 2003, MPIL established the Sheth Phoolchand Savitri Devi Gupta Charitable Trust as an independent Trust, which pursues the social development initiatives of the organization. Since its founding, the Trust has engaged in several charitable and social welfare activities ranging from donations, grants, scholarships, free meals, schools for the underserved communities as well as women empowerment efforts. The Trust operates as an independent entity and is managed by Mrs. Darshana Gupta, member Board of Directors, MPIL. The Trust welcomes the opportunity to be involved in grass roots efforts to bring education and economic opportunity, especially to rural communities in India. In the last few years, the TRUST has been involved in charitable activities in the areas of arts, culture, livelihood, health, education, sports and environment sustainability.
